REGISTRATION POLICY
Registration and Reservations:
The kiosk must be reserved through Student Government prior to painting. Only University Departments and Campus Life recognized student organizations will be eligible for painting the kiosk. Student Government will be checking with Campus Life to ensure each organization is officially recognized. All student organizations must have an X-Fund Account; applicants that do not provide do not provide an X-Fund number will be denied.

Rules for Painting
• Only the kiosk itself may be painted. The surrounding items and areas, including garbage cans, trees, tables, chains and sidewalk may not be painted.
• Students and student organizations will be responsible for paying for any damage done to cars parked in the parking lot adjacent to the kiosk.
• The Kiosk can only be reserved for 72 hours.
• Other student organizations may not paint over the kiosk for at least 72 hours from the date and time recorded on the kiosk.
• The kiosk can only be reserved for an organization or department 1 time per semester,
• Requests to paint the kiosk will not be accepted if the application date is more than 4 months prior to the date requested
Violations and Penalties
Violations include:
• Painting the kiosk without first reserving a time for the painting via the usage agreement.
• Painting over the kiosk without waiting the required 72 hour period.
• Painting anything other than the kiosk or damaging the surrounding items or areas.
Penalties include:
Violating any of these terms will result in a 2 full semester (excluding spring and summer) suspension from painting the kiosk. A second violation of these terms will result in a suspension of up to 4 academic years at the discretion of Student Government. An academic year counts as 2 full semesters. Cases in which the surrounding areas or items were painted or otherwise damaged will result in the student or student organization being referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards for discipline under the EMU Code of Student Conduct. Student Government reserves the right to charge for damages and painting prohibited areas
